Left off the World team? Don't care. Elena Radionova may not have had her most consistent season, but she still has that fire that will keep burning through the Olympic season. And you better believe that she is not letting her fifth place at Russian Nationals get in the way.

Case in point - called up to represent Russia at World Team Trophy more than two months after her last international appearance at Winter Universiade, and after not being named to either the European team or the World team, Radionova looked as strong as she had all season and played a huge role in Team Russia getting second in the event.

Radionova is also one of the few Russian skaters to go outside the box and enlist top choreographers outside Russia to broaden her range. This very fun short program was choreographed by Shae-Lynn Bourne and absolutely marked a departure in style for her - and if you ask me, I thought this program was a bit overlooked this season.
