This program brought the house down.
Skating at home, with a crowd that didn’t know whether or not it would be her last competition, Carolina Kostner delivered the performance of her life - in her 14th season on the senior circuit.
FOURTEEN SEASONS.
(Thankfully for them, and for everyone else, Kostner has intentions to extend her longevity into at least this coming season.)
And over the past decade and half, we have seen Kostner grow from a supreme jumper to a consummate artist. When she puts those two together, she is as brilliant as anyone on the scene right now. Even the cameraperson had no chill after she finished.
Thank goodness the judges here rewarded her properly for it. Enjoy.
