2017 Skate Canada short program
This was not the Olympic season that Patrick Chan probably had in mind. But when all was said and done, he did what he couldn’t do four years ago - go home with an Olympic gold medal. And he could finish his career on a high note.
All’s well that ends well, but Chan was unable to really put down clean performances of two programs that had loads of potential, even though he scaled down his technical content last season.
This short program at Skate Canada was a sign of just how much potential his programs had. And though it wasn’t all clean, it was magnificent. Enjoy.
