It's true, there's a repeat.

In the very deep sea of fantastic free dances, theirs was one of the big highlights. Kaitlin Hawayek/Jean-Luc Baker made sure they wouldn't regret revisiting their signature free dance from the season before.

If this seems like deja vu to you, well, it is. This program was #44 on last year's countdown. And they outdid even that performance with this skate at Nationals.

In 2017, this program was a disaster for them at the U.S. Championships, but the repeat wasn't going to be a repeat - it was one of the cleanest, most well executed free dances of the competition, and perhaps the greatest one of their career so far. A Four Continents win and top 10 in their first Worlds after this skate - not too shabby.
